Picture this: the Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland’s grand road trip extravaganza stretching 1600 miles from Muff in Donegal to Kinsale in Cork. We recommend a leisurely 21 days for this epic journey. However,  if you’re short on time, tackle the southern stretch in just 7 days in our Wild Atlantic Way campervan & motorhome itinerary.

Start in Tralee, soaking in Irish hospitality and indulging in the finest food and drink. Drive the breathtaking Slea Head Drive to Dingle, once home of the friendly dolphin, Fungi. Explore the rugged Ring of Beara, cross to Valentia Island, and take in the sights along the Ring of Kerry, including Killarney National Park and Sneem’s scenic charm.

Discover the unspoiled beauty of Sheeps Head Peninsula and Baltimore’s lively fishing scene. Visit Mizen Head, Ireland’s southwestern tip, and  afterwards enjoy a pint at the southernmost pub. Ride the Dursey cable car for stunning views, and consider sea safaris in Kinsale for a chance to see seals and dolphins.

Finish your journey in vibrant Kinsale, undoubtedly feeling triumphant and slightly windblown. The Wild Atlantic Way beckons—adventure awaits!
